NOC/SWASAL Workshop for sports journalist kicks-off today

Journalists across the country are going to be trained on how to report on the 17 Sporting disciplines in the country. OC’s Secretary General Joseph Nyande said the two days intensive training workshop is designed to cover a certain length of reporting manuals on the said discipline.
President of the Sierra Leone Sports Writers Association (SWASAL) Mohamed Fajah Barrie said apart from being privileged to be able to understand the dynamics of reporting on the 17 sporting disciplines, the facilitators will have to also share lectures covering the ethics of sports journalism.
Meanwhile, 32 sports journalists have already being enrolled into the workshop.
