Constituency 63 MP hosts Indian investors

Welcoming the investors from India, the MP said the investors were on a fact finding mission with the objective to invest in agriculture in the chiefdom, and thanked them for their intention to invest in his constituency, assuring them that as MP he will make sure the people protect the investment, if and when it materializes.

Hon. Aaron Koroma said through President Koroma’s vision to fast track development in the country, he will work with the Indians in order to archive their objective, sounding confident that  after the fact finding mission, the trees that will be planted will yield dividend and provide employment opportunities for his people.

Introducing the investors to the community, the Indian Consulate of Sierra Leone, Dr.Ankur Purohit disclosed that the company, Rain Maker –  Sierra Leone Limited will be here to manufacture papers wherein raw materials will be planted in the country.

He said the company operates in Indian and has many  branches around the world, stating that  after the fact finding mission on the soil and of the trees to be planted, the company will come back to kick start the process.

Representing the company in Sierra Leone, Dr. Satish Chandra and M. V. Ramakerishma expressed appreciation for the warm welcome accorded them by the natives, adding that if everything went as planned they will invest massively in the chiefdom.

Representing the paramount chief, Mr. Paroke S. Sesay who is Regent Chief of Yoni Chiefdom, prayed that things work as planned while the Director of Crops in the Ministry of Agriculture, Henry Kamara assured that government was ready to work with any investor in order to improve the economy and that government will ensure their protection while investing in the county.
