Kenema Clock Tower Project To Kick Off Soon
The Mayor of Kenema City Council, His Lordship successful businessman Thomas Bandabla Baio has in a telephone interview confirmed to Orrank that the felt needs of his people is the old age clock tower to be changed to a modernized one.
The project he said is his baby and that he is not going to treat it with lethargy. The mayor of Kenema is the peoples Mayor, so he his ready to make Kenema a modern city. His actions came as a response to the cry of his people that the city of Kenema needs a new clock tower that befits the city of Kenema. The old age clock tower is in a bad shape cracks all over the structure, the foundation is not strong to withstand its weight. An official in the Ministry of Housing told Orrank.
The tower which was constructed during the All Peoples Congress (APC) of late Siaka Stevens by late Honorable J.B Dauda was never completed to date. The deputy minister of housing confirmed that the government of president Bio will support the construction of the new tower in Kenema.
As we go to press, engineers from the city council and the Mayor have visited the construction site.
