‘Pujehun gets pipe borne water after 25 years’ Councilor Kaikai
Councilor Kaikai of Pujehun District on 24th November, 2015 disclosed to this paper that pipe borne water has finally reached the district after twenty five years.
He made this statement during the launching of the BABA Drilling and Exploration Company in Pujehun town. He further stated that the people of Pujehun are happy for the supply of pipe the borne water.
He observed that the difficulties encountered in consuming unpurified water is not good for the health of the people and called on BABA Drilling and Exploration to help with water supply in other parts of the district where pipe borne water is not accessible at present.
He recalled the constraints faced by the people when there was no pipe borne water in the district which he referred to as a difficult moment in the history of the district which he described as an abnormality in the twenty first century.
