Sesay hopes to shine for Leone Stars
Atlantis FC midfielder Abdul Sesay has said he will make the most of his latest chance with the national team Leone Stars after getting an invitation to join the national team for the Ivory Coast match this Sunday in the Afcon 2017 qualifiers.
Sesay has been a consistent performer in the Finnish Kekkonen league, but he has not yet set alight the international scene with Sierra Leone.
The 23 year old who join the team through a direct call from the FA secretariat will be expecting a full debute to play a role in Sunday afternoon showdown in Nigeria against the raging African champions and he said he will take his chance this time.
“I don’t want to waste this opportunity I have played games for the junior national teams but playing with the A team is very difficult as you have to play exactly like a professional, Adding that he believe he had some qualities that why I was invited he said “Hopefully, this time it would be my time to shine in I hope to take my club form of into Sunday game..
“I am not under any kind of pressure and I think this is my chance to succeed in the national team”
