Fatmata Marah to Represent Sierra Leone in Miss Africa New Jersey 2013
My name is Fatmata Marah. I was born on July 15th 1992 in the most beautiful place on earth, Sierra Leone, a place I call paradise. In June of 2006 I gained the privileged opportunity of coming to the United States. My uncle, someone who I call my hero, has been the one to accommodate my stay.
Coming to the United States has been a life changing experience for me. All my accomplishments would be impossible without God; he strengths me and keeps me going because I know with him all things are possible. I am currently enrolled at Delaware County community college, majoring in pre-med. My goal is to become a physician and hope to give back to my country. I plan on building a hospital in the future at my home town, where in I will help people that can’t afford modern medical care.
Through my past experiences I have learned to manage challenging tasks and cope with them. I am a very enthusiastic student and I think this is one of my many strong attributes. The strongest attribute that I have, is being a sociable person. Handling large social gathering comes naturally for me. I like to communicate with people and get acquainted with new interesting individuals
Finally I know my dream will come true because I am a very hard working young lady who accomplishes anything that I put my mind and soul into doing. With the help of Christ all things are possible.
