Musicians Acclaim President Koroma
Sister musicians Luc and Hajoius are the latest set of musicians to felicitate President Ernest Bai Koroma on his re-election for a second and final five year term.
On Wednesday 12th December 2012 Luc stated that as musicians they have portrayed the attributes of President Koroma as a statesman who sees every individual as equals. Luc said she eulogies President Koroma when they released their 10 track album in 2007 titled ‘Tell God Tenki’ with tracks listings below. She said the album thrilled the airwaves of most radio station and was launched at the Atlantic Hal, National Stadium.
As Chairlady for Voice of the Youth in Grafton she said she contributed towards the re- election of President Ernest Bai Koroma by joining the campaign team and canvassing support. She said she used her little resources to support President Koroma because according to her, President Koroma is a man of the people.
According to Luc, her admiration for President Koroma was nurtured through a dream she had and since then she became the ambassador of the President preaching the message of Attitudinal Behavioral Change and “Agenda for Change.”
She paid tribute to people like Alhaji Ibrahim Ben Kargbo, Alhaji Alpha Kanu, Ministers of Information and Political Affairs respectively, Dr. Kelfala Marah Chief of Staff amongst others.
As a musician she said she was thrilled by the meeting between Maada Bio and President Koroma just after the announcement of the election results. She said those are the attributes of a good leader.
The musician urged President Koroma to put premium on the youth since most of the people who voted him are youth and to as well give a sense of direction to the election of his successor as party leader.
