Call on Party Supporters to Coordinate Celebration with the National Party Secretariat

Freetown, December 3^rd 2012: The attention of the All Peoples Congress Party has been drawn to several uncoordinated victory celebrations across the country since the announcement of the 2012 Presidential result, which gave President Ernest Bai Koroma a resounding first round victory.

The party wishes to express its sincere thanks and appreciation to its supporters and the general public for their support in the electoral process. A resounding victory definitely deserves celebration. However, the party would like to urge its supporters to properly coordinate all other victory events through the Office of the National Secretary General and in the Provinces through their respective party structures.

The party further reinforces the call by HE Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for APC members and supporters to embrace supporters of other political parties during this period of national victory in demonstration of national unity and tolerance.
