NEC primaries kick off in Tonkolili District

According to the Electoral Commissioner in Magburaka, Stevens Sallu Kabba, the final date for this exercise is expected to be from the 1 – 23rd October 2012. He said the exercise would be conducted for people to know their candidates and the dates for campaigning.
The nominations for Paramount Chiefs are expected to be carried out that same period, he said.
Meanwhile, Chief Administrator of the Tonkolili District Council, Abubakarr Daramy has said that the District council would soon breathe a sigh of relief as council was about to appoint a qualified person to act as Public Relations Officer to disseminate information about the activities of the district council.
