Kamara completes Syrianska move
Sierra Leonean midfielder Alusine Baggio Kamara (in photo) has completed his move to join Swedish Premiership side Syrianska FC Wednesday 10th August, after successfully going through his medical test as in the club’s website on www.SyrianskaFC.com .
The 21year old signed a three year contract that will keep him at the club until 2014 and he also joined the rest of the squad at their camp south of Sweden after the unveiling ceremony.
Speaking to Sierra Express Media Sports through a mobile phone from his Swedish camp, the former FC Kallon midfielder said he is happy for the move as this is a big one in his football career.
He noted however that it is a dream come true as he was longing to play in the Swedish top tier league. He said it is his wish to do his best with his new outfit, noting that he has a big challenge ahead.
That as a new player, the coach and fans expect to see him deliver. “I have to keep my game records clean and try to do my part for the club,” he said.
Kamara who was voted best player last season at Mortala FC has joined fellow Sierra Leonean compatriots Mohamed Pobosky Bangura and Ibrahim Marcel Koroma in the Swedish top tier division.
In another engagement in Cyprus, the former East End Lions left back defender, Kai Gborie, the same day signed for 1st division side Alke FC of Larnaca.
News about his signing was disclosed by the player’s agent in Cyprus Opong Kamara.
Opong also said that the former Central Parade player, Johnny Coker, will put pen to paper this weekend if all works out well for him.
