Yori-Yori Dry Dock

It’s a shame how people get to take the Sierra Leonean entertainment market for granted! A group of musicians from Nigeria were past Friday hosted at the National Stadium by a group of people who think the boys were popular in the country for their hit song ‘yori-yori.’

The show turned out to be a squander-big loss, no dice. Only about a thousand people attended when it was expected the 36,000 capacity will be fully occupied by patronage.

Money collected according a man who hastily called Mr. Express is not even sufficient to pay the flight ticket for the boys and their crew back to Nigeria.  Mr. Express can’t remember when last the stadium actually was full to capacity on any musical extravaganza. Pity!

APC Unpopularity Rife

Mr. Express has noted with all seriousness that the All People’s Congress has begun smelling the rat of it dwindling popularity in come parts of the country.

In the West of the country, people are wary with the APC City Mayor, in the far east in Kono, the people are tired of the dreary manner in which the government is treating them. Their young politician – Sam-Sumana seen not to be concerned anyway he is busy thinking that he came being who he is by virtue of APC support, not knowing that his ticket was the Kono people: the earlier you know the better – APC Na Ungrateful Party!

Government Intends to Rig PC Election

A dedicated fan of Mr. Express called to leak the news about the intention of APC government to rig the ongoing Paramount Chieftaincy Election by exerting undue influence on the Electoral College in the vacant chiefdoms.

Mr. Express suggests that the National Electoral Commission and Elections Observers keep an eye on the Nimiyama elections in the Kono District if transparency must be upheld.

Tele Medicine, E-College

Mr. Express is impressed by the new efforts of the government and the University of Sierra Leone to institute Tele medicine in the country that will link our medical practitioners and other advanced country to share expertise in medicine-that will be great!

The University of Sierra Leone too it seems has come out of the medieval system of learning and is fast adopting E-learning for those who might not fancy daily campus scholarly activities.
