Gabon striker Gilles Mbang Ondo seals Stabaek move

The 25-year-old international forward ended his two-year stay with Grindavik of Iceland after failing to agree a new contract.
Ondo passed a medical before thrashing out personal terms.
He was linked to Algerian side JS Kabylie but has opted for Stabaek, who were keen on him to boost their attacking options.
“I had some offers but after visiting Stabaek I am utterly convinced that it is the right club for me,” said Ondo, who was the top scorer in Iceland last season.
“I worked hard in Iceland last season and I think it is the reason why Stabaek came for me.
“I am here fulfil the talent that Stabaek saw before singing me and I will work hard to make the fans happy with goals.”
The Gabon international is expected to make his debut on 20 March when the league in Norway starts.
Ondo scored 33 goals in 55 appearances for Grindavik in his two-year stay in Iceland.
