Kamara opted to break into squad

Kamara, Enosis’ strong aggressive midfielder made this disclosure to Sierra Express Media just a few days before Sierra Leone battle 2010 World Cup host South Africa in Freetown in the AFCON qualifiers.
Kamara aka Police who played five seasons at the local club FC Kallon and won three trophy’s, helped FC Kallon to eliminate Nigeria champions Ocean Boys in 2007, but went out of the competition by the present Ivorian champions Asec Mimosas, was part of the FC Kallon squad that played under 19 competitions in Italy and France the same year.
He has represented Sierra Leone in junior competition in the Meridian Cup taking Spain, Turkey, France and Portugal.
He held the record in a tie of 52 appearances for FC Kallon, but the Sierra Leonean will be happy to add his experience to the national side if he is given the opportunity to do so.
Speaking to Sierra Express over the weekend, the 21-year-old Sierra Leonean says he is so excited to make history for his club.
“I’m very happy to break into the Sierra Leone squad but at this moment I want to have enough games with my club and grab the fans’ attention, make history with them by winning the Greek league. It is not going to be easy but I am going to be very determined while I am here to help my teammates” he said.
Kamara, who is now a vital player for Enosis, joined them from Dynamo Pervoile directly from his former Sierra Leone club FC Kallon.
