Former Sierra Leone AG’s Woes Deepen

Less than three weeks after her famous sacking, the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Priscilla Schwartz, may yet again find herself in another trouble as she faces a possible rejection by her former University in UK where she had been lecturing before her appointment as AG.

This comes following a complaint letter written to the Vice Chancellor and the Council Senate of the University of Leicester -her former university in UK, by a grouping known as ‘Fraud on Democracy and Donor Funds Report’ expressing grave concerns over the conduct of the former AG which they say has made her manifestly unsuitable for any academic position back at her former university or anywhere around UK.

According to the grouping’s letter, the former AG was complicit together with State House in gross Violation of Human Rights in Sierra Leone for political oriented motives furthering that there is a UK Statue for prosecution of UK nationals for such activities for which she enjoys no immunity as a UK Citizen.

Judging from the said letter and the response from the university authorities, the former AG’s woes could well be deepen should UK authorities decide to prosecute her for the gross human rights violations she presided over during her tenure as Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
