Dealer in provisions and assorted food items at 10 Sani Abacha Street in Freetown, Pee Cee & Sons has donated various items to the Maria Ines Vocational Institute in Lunsar and Don Bosco Fambul Homes at During Town, Peninsular.
The donation, according to the management of the donor institution catered for hundreds of beneficiaries including children and young women at the two institutions.
In their submission at the donation ceremony, the management of Pee Cee & Sons maintained that the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) has affected only the business sector and charity institutions relied on big businesses to care for the vulnerable and needy.
The management was modest to see the various projects being done by Don Bosco Fambul and the Maria Ines Vocational Institute which has impacted the lives of many vulnerable Sierra Leoneans.
Father George Crisafulli, Director of Don Bosco Fambul expressed concern that so many organizations and individuals have supported the home for the children despite these are not normal times.
At the Maria Institute in Lunsar, Sister Sandra and other staff commended Pee cee & Sons management for what they described as a timely gift and promised to use the assorted food items including bags of rice for it intended purpose, which is to keep the institution going during the Corona Virus Disease outbreak.
