Presidential Nominees Go through Parliamentary Interview
Nine Presidential nominees have gone through Parliamentary interview at Tower Hill in Freetown.
The ceremony marked the Second Session of the Fifth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone, Fourteenth Sitting of the Committee on Appointments and the Public Service in Committee Room No. 1, Parliament Building on Wednesday 22nd April, 2020.
The nine nominees that faced the appointment Committee in Parliament include the Chairman and Leader for the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP), now Chairman, National Commission for Privatization (NCP), Ing. Abdulai Ansumana, Deputy Director General for SLRA, Mrs. Cybic Bailor, Chairman Board of Directors Sierra Leone Local Contents Policy, Ing. Trudy Morgan, Member Board of Directors Sierra Leone Local Content Policy, Mr. Sheku Mattia, Deputy Commissioner Insurance Commission Sierra Leone, Haja Mariama Fatu Myers, Member Coprporate Affairs Commission, Loloyd Hindolo Jusu (ESQ), Member Corporate Affairs Commission, Brother Mamoud Foday Sesay, Member Corporate Affairs Commission and Mrs. Amie Elizabeth Green.
The Outgoing Leader of Government Business, Hon. Sidie Mohamed Tunis told the Committee on Appointment that the ceremony marked his last day to seat as Chairman of Committee on Appointment and the Public Service.
The presence of the National Chairman and Leader for SLPP, Dr. Alex Prince Harding as one of the presidential nominees interviewed climaxed the occasion and also marked Hon. Tunis final confirmation.
