Kissy Industry & SOCFIN donate to EOC
The CEO of Kissy Industry, Jammel Shalop, together with Socfin Agricultural Company have donated 4,000 Rubbers of oil and 50,000 bags of medicated soap to the EOC on Cockeril Freetown.
According to Mr. Shallop, the donation was not just a collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Trade, but also with two companies.
He maintained that the one company, Socfin, is doing cultivation while the other is involved in production and value addition, noting that he is a born and breed Sierra Leonean. He disclosed that he contributed about four hundred millions Leones to the Government of Sierra Leone to help fight the dreadful Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) which costs thousands of lives, orphans and homeless fathers, mothers and innocent children.
“I have being responding to any crisis stricken the country,” he stated and spoke about the two containers of relief items.
He reiterated that the batter of oil would serve the purpose of food, noting that the soap is useful at this period especially in the area of hygiene practices like hand washing and other cleaning protocols.
He ended by encouraging other companies to do same for the purpose of helping the depressed and save lives.
