Asata Surprise for Big Sister Sierra Leone Vote 038-2020
A seasoned Sierra Leonean entertainer, born at 15 Mannah Street in Bo City, Asata Surprise Turay has come out very strongly to contest in the Big Sister Sierra Leone 2020 competition.
Surprise as she is commonly called is among the One Hundred (100) contestants who have being shortlisted out of eight hundred (800) women gone for the audition.
Speaking to this medium on her priority areas as a determined challenger to clinch the crown, Surprise said he focuses on addressing issues of sexual harassment in Sierra Leone and across Africa, child trafficking and women empowerment.
Surprise maintained that she concentrated on the highlighted focus points not only that she wanted to win the fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) star price but for the passion she has for women empowerment since childhood. “Women believe in yourselves, stay strong and be positive,” she admonished and expressed gratitude to be part of the process because she said “It is a great opportunity for me,”.
She called on organizers of the would be best Sierra Leonean beauty pageant, Zed Zee Multitude under the auspices of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Madam Zainab Sheriff to keep it up for the fact that she said the program is good and motivating for the country and Africa as a whole.
She extended appreciation to friends and fans for their unflinching support and encouraged them to continue voting for her to allow her enter the house through the code 038-2020.
To her fellow contestants, Surprise encouraged them to keep the faith and wait for God to choose the best among the twenty five (25) contestants who will be finally battling for the beauty crown.
Surprise attended the Saint Theresa Convent in Liberia from Class One (1) to six (6), Sahr Albert Secondary School, Lugbu Chiefdom in the Southern District, United Methodist University in Liberia where she studied Sociology and English Language and she is currently studying excel computer program at Sulisha School of computer in Freetown.
Her parents, Mr. Kafala and Mrs. Fatmata Turay hailed from the Southern District of Bo City.
Surprise maintained that “I was a DJ and artist in Liberia and I have produced couple of rap songs including ‘good girl, a song that portrayed sufferings women succumbed to in love relationship and ‘Sweet Liberia’.
Concluding, Surprise extended gratefulness to Government and the country’s security apparatus for providing the enabling environment and demonstrated optimism to become victorious among the would be twenty five (25) contestants.
