Dr. Tengbe feeds quarantined homes in Freetown

In his strive to extend his “Feed the People Project” from the Provinces to Freetown Dr. Jonathan Tengbe 6 November 2014 fed several quarantined homes in  Maransho Pomuronkoh, Calbatown, Freetown.

Making the donation on behalf of the philanthropist Doctor was the Coordinator of the “Feed the People project” in Freetown Mr Mustapha N Lahai. He told the local authorities that Dr Tengbe was answering to the call of President Koroma for all Sierra Leonean to join the fight against the Ebola disease. The coordinator assured the authorities that Dr Jonathan Tengbe determined to continue the project till we kick Ebola out of Sierra Leone.

“Dr Tengbe started his good will effort in Kailahun, east of Sierra Leone and he has now extended it to Freetown west of the country, to show his solidarity for the people of Sierra Leone,” Mr Lahai said.

Reacting with joy the Councillor for ward 346 Madam Mary Kamara thanked the donation team and extended her sincere thanks to Dr Tengbe for his good work.

She also told the team that she has made several appeals for government to feed these quarantined homes but to no avail so “for Dr Jonathan Tengbe to feed our people during this difficult period in our country shows he is a true Sierra Leonean” said the Councillor.

Residents of the Calabatown community in Freetown including the youths however expressed their desire to personal meet with Dr. Tengbe and thanked him for his good work in their community when he is in Freetown.
