Mamamah Airport project in Le3 billion saga
A fake CSE sub-contractor. a Mr. Sakiss. is currently helping the CID for duping the community people of the Mamamah airport location for over Le3 Billion.
This fake sub contractor Sakiss has for the past three months engaged over 100 Sierra Leoneans as employees without giving them a cent.
Sakiss professed to be a sub contractor for the Chinese company that will be coming to construct the Mamamah Airport.
Among those duped include a Sierra Leonean Philanthropist and a descendant of Koya chiefdom from America Mr. Foday Kamara, land owners, transport owners and fuel dealers.
The arrest of the criminal orchestrated by Mr. Kamara lead to a very big meeting on Sunday June 8th 2014 at Makosseh village Koya chiefdom.
Mr. Sakiss had mobilized the community people to supply the project with sand, granite and ball stones for the relocation of the 63 villages where the airport will be constructed.
In order to transport these materials Sakiss had also arranged with transport owners who having been transporting these materials without giving them a single cent.
He similarly arranged with fuel dealers who have supplied over Le452 million worth of fuel to the transporters.
According to the philanthropist Mr. Foday Kamara who had undertaken the financing of the project had personally dished out 2.5 billion for the purchase of four jeeps and for domestic expenses and also dished out another two hundred thousand dollars to kick start the relocation project before the arrival of the Chinese company.
According to information the affected villages were yesterday Monday June 9th planning a big demonstration but was quelled down by Mr. Kamara who assured the villagers, transporters, dealers and the said employees the issue has been lodged with the government of Sierra Leone and demonstration now would be a slap on the face of the ruling government and proposed another meeting with the people for today Tuesday 10th June 2014.
