Thieves rampage Kabba’s residence

Latest repots reaching this press have stated that one Morlai Keita of Juba Hill in Freetown, was on Thursday March 20th, 2014 caught stealing at late President Alhaji Dr. Ahmad Tejan Kabba’s residence.

A police officer at Lumley Divisional Headquarters is currently investigating the matter.

Morlai Keita was captured when trying to steal a mixer from an amplifier at the former President’s address.  Another report stated at the early hours of Wednesday 19th March, 2014 some teenagers were also arrested by the police with items such as plates, pans and pots, put in a rice bag.

The incident took place during the time when the Kabbah family is mourning the death of their loved one.

Before the stealing of the said items, report also says a cow that was bought for the funeral ceremony was also stolen on Tuesday March 18th 2014 at the same compound, even though the cow was later found dead and already butchered.  Several people have been arrested and are currently helping the police with their investigation.
