ACC Boss Raps Investors

Barrister Tejan Cole, Head of the country’s graft commission, has told two British businessmen Messrs James Turner and Dennis Frazer of the Frazer Turner Investment searching Company that there are laws in Sierra Leone that protect genuine and serious business and serious business people.

“We may need to upgrade some of our laws’ Mr. Cole said, ‘but we still have laws that criminalize government officials who create bottlenecks to make problems for investors’. He concluded.

Messrs James Turner and Dennis Frazer, whose company facilitated the London Mining Plc to take over a section of the Ore rich reserves in Marampa are in the country to witness the road opening and government of Sierra Leone. The President Ernest Bai Koroma is expected to open the jetty road today in Torfeyim off Robgere Junction.

According to Mr. Dennis Frazer, “ the London Mining Plc taking over the iron ore reserved tailings in Marampa may have caused us sleepless nights and yet, it is the best deal for the country. We are happy it is over”. The Frazer Turner Company is seeking further ways of multiple investments in the country, including the agriculture and gold exploration sectors. During their stay in the country, the Frazer Turner company executives have had several meetings with government functionaries including the Mines and Mineral resources minister, the Honourable Vice President, Chief Alhaji Sam Sumana and several senior civil servants and civil groups.
