Temne Tribal Head in ACC Net
The Sierra Leone Police is collaborating with the Anti Corruption Commission in investigating the Temne tribal head, Alhaji King Kandeh Kamara on allegations of abuse of office and other corrupt practices.
This press has been reliably informed that the Temne tribal head has over the years been unilaterally crowning community chiefs in the western area which has resulted to duplication and disunity among the tribesmen.
Kamara is reportedly receiving the sum of Le2 million and portions of land from intending community chiefs.
State Lodge sources disclosed that President Bai Koroma is averse to this ugly development and this has prompted the ACC to bring in the Temne tribal head for questioning.
It can be recaledl that over the past years, the Temne tribal head has faced similar allegations of extortion and abuse of office.
Officials of the ACC have refused to divulge the outcome of the investigations for fear of prejudicing their findings. However this press will intimate its readership as and when more revelations stream in.
