Marampa Youths Pray for PC Queen

Development-oriented youths in the mineral rich chiefdom of Marampa in the Port Loko District in the north of Sierra Leone have expressed their satisfaction over the manner they are being ruled by their energetic Paramount Chief, Bai Koblo Queen (in photo).

A good number of the youths assisted by the PC under his jobs creation agenda  informed this medium that they would patronize with their chief at any moment in time since he means good for especially young people in the chiefdom.

Youths Chairman for Port Loko District, Frank G. Conteh, said that in as much as the mining companies have not done much in the area of development of the mining communities as embedded in their corporate social responsibilities, people must have great respect for their Paramount Chief who he described as a prosperity-oriented person who has given jobs to a good number of his people and even outsiders who are capable. He said the PC is a blessing to the entire district taking into consideration the goodies he has already delivered since 2002 when he took over from his father as Paramount Chief, Frank explained, adding that a man like Bai Koblo Queen deserves to be hailed not only for his past and present development activities but also for his clear future plans for the Agenda for prosperity to succeed in Marampa Chiefdom.

The Youths Chairman has made a clarion call for respect of authority in Port Loko District, saying that their PC has come under attack by some ill-motivated detractors within the district. Frank described those reports as erroneous, calling them blatant disrespect for the institution of chieftaincy.

PC Bai Koblo Queen had informed this medium that he would not relent to support the government’s Agenda for prosperity even if his detractors continue to smear his name.
