Jordan hammers Sierra Leone Stars

The home side who were deserving winners enjoyed a better and well composed performance over an unimpressive and shaking Leone Stars squad.

The impressive Jordanians side got-off to a flying start through Shadi Nadmi’s goal to capitalize on Stars converted left back, Alhassan Bangura aka Alonzo but striker, Alhaji Kamara had an opportunity to level things up 13 minutes later in a one on one situation but failed to get passed the Jordanian goalkeeper, Amer Shafee.

Four minutes later, goalkeeper, Habib was forced make to double important save but another counter-attack gave the home side a 2-0 lead though Hamza Dardour headers.

Coach, John Kesiter started the second period with the introduction of Idrissa Sesay, Issa Zuma Kamara and Morie Alie in place of Mohamed Bangura, Junior Lahai Coker and Alhassan Bangura respectively.

The trio introduction also hailed divided when striker, Alhaji Kamara again came close to secure a consolation but saw his chance roll just inches from the post.

An own goal from defender Yayah Janneh put the Jordanians 3-0 ahead before defender Basem Fathi broke an off-side trap to seal the win for the home side, 4-0.
