APC to bring VP I & II?
The Sierra Express’ leaks have it buoyant that the ruling APC intends bringing back the positions of Vice President I and II as was in days past. (Photo: Hon. Musa Tarawallie)
It could be recalled that this press has had serialized publications of stories revealing the unpromising reappointment of Vice President Sam Sumana as President Koroma’s running mate in the 2012 elections.
Sam Sumana being one of APC’s biggest bank rollers apparently may not make it as running mate to President Koroma, but might somewhat be consoled with the position of second Vice President.
It has reached desks of this press that Musa Tarawallie is President Koroma’s unfailing choice of running mate come 2012.
That he is seen as a popular Southeasterner who is able and capable of infiltrating strongholds of the opposition SLPP in that part of the country.
Sources from within the APC have disclosed that the core of the party has had little or practically no confidence that Vice President Sam Samuna has the wherewithal to win votes for the APC in Southeastern regions of Sierra Leone.
Be it known also that the political wedding between the APC and PMDC, which in the 2007elections, has helped the APC get votes in the Southeast seemed longed diminished.
The plan to unseat Vice President Sam Sumana as President Koroma’s 2012 running mate has created a rift from among the membership of the APC in the Diaspora.
It is a fact that Sam Sumana has strong political following in the Diaspora where eventually the likes of Musa Tarawallie never had any.
The current political stalemate especially from among members in the Diaspora might consequently affect the APC in terms of financial support in the run up to 2012 elections.

They should also consider creating VP3 and VP4.Further they should introduce a legislation for one party system and no one will object as UN and Uk fully supports APC
