Meet the Miss West Africa UK finalists

International comedian Gina Yashere will be hosting the long awaited Miss West Africa on the 26th of November 2010. UK will once again be enlightened by the most exciting Africa event in UK exploring beauty of West African woman and culture. The Miss West Africa UK 2010 finalists have been confirmed, and this year presents to you an amazing list of beauty pageants descending from various countries such as Togo, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Guinea Bissau, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Cameroon, and even Cape Verde. The aim of Miss West Africa UK is to find a unifying figure amongst many whom all West Africans can be proud to be represented by. The winner of Miss West Africa UK would be a leading voice and unifying figure for all West Africans living in the UK and will be flown to Nigeria in 2011 to compete against all other Miss West Africa title holders in Miss West Africa International 2011. She will also then become the successor to the current Miss West Africa International, Shireen Benjamin. During this year Shireen will participate in carrying out various duties around the world whilst crowning girls in all West African countries.
