Koroma: the Aging President

Mr. Express had the privilege of having a close encounter with the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone. I was struck in wonder as to how the athletic looking President of two years ago is aging very-very fast.

Two years ago when he was being sworn in the conference room at State House, the best descriptive that was given him which apparently also ran through out his campaign is that “he is a young man” by then he was 54 and had about only 30% gray-headedness. It’s truly a marvel that in just two year the grayness in his hair has shot up to over 98% – alarming! The contours on his face are also now very much pronounced and what seems not helpful to the situation is that his foremost lieutenant IB Kargbo is also age stricken – a tired man. Hog ad no to pikin load!
