Funds have been allocated to the Western Area Rural District Council from the Road Maintenance Fund Administration(RMFA) and intends to apply the proceeds to eligible payments under these Contracts for Spot Improvement and Routine Maintenance (5) Five Feeder Roads and the Construction of Culverts In the Western Area Rural District Council acting on behalf of Road Maintenance Fund Administration (RMFA) now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders as follows:

SPOT IMPROVEMENT AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WORK ALONG FONIMA TO RIDDLE AVENUE – BAOMA OFF GODERICH FONIMA TO BAOMA GODERICH

 

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures in accordance with Sierra Leone Public Procurement Act, 2016 and Guidelines Procurement of  Works. Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document from the Office of the Procurement Officer, Western Area Rural  District Council, Old Main Motor Road, York road, Waterloo, Western Area Rural, Sierra Leone between 9: 00am – 5: 00pm (Sierra Leone Time) from Mondays to Fridays.  Bidding documents may be purchased and collected by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of SLL350,000.00 (three hundred and fifty thousand Leones) or its equivalent   Bids must be delivered to the office of the Procurement Officer, Western Area Rural District Council, Old Main Motor Road York Road, Waterloo, Western Area Rural, Sierra Leone and. All bids must be accompanied by:

  • A copy of a valid Ministry of Works, Housing and infrastructure (MOWHI) Registration certificate minimum of class two and above
  • A copy of valid Business Registration Certificate
  • A copy of valid NRA Tax Clearance Certificate
  • A copy of a valid NASSIT Clearance Certificate
  • Council Registration Certificate
  • Audited Monthly Cash Flow Statement for the last 12 months
  • A Bid security of fifteen million Leones (Le6,000,000) or its equivalent from a reputable Banking Institution for each lot
  • Site organization chart, Method Statement & Site Mobilization Schedule
  • List of proposed Personnel with their qualification and experience
  • List of available Contractor’s equipment and their availability, source (lease, rental or owned) & copies of Vehicle registration cards
  • Site visit report/form
  • Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) Certificate
  • Evidence of similar works

Bids will be opened on Tuesday 16th  April 2019 at 12:00 pm (Sierra Leone Time) in the presence of bidders’ or their representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room,  Western Area Rural District Council, Old Main Motor Road, York Road, Waterloo, Western Area Rural, Sierra Leone.

Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
