‘Bio’s Gov’t, The Worst In Salone History’ Kamarainba Explodes
The Leader and Chairman of the opposition, Alliance Democratic Party (ADP), Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray, who many refer to as the voice of the voiceless, has yet again slammed the Bio led Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) government branding it the worst in the history of Sierra Leone. In one of his usual audios released on the 4th of December, 2018 to mark the eight months in office for the former junta leader, Brig. (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio, Mr. Mansaray heavily criticized Bio’s New Direction calling it a failed direction which he said has only succeeded in worsening the sufferings Sierra Leoneans since coming to power.
Registering his disappointment, Kamarainba expressed dismay over the conditions of service for the country’s doctors and nurses, who are currently on a sit down strike because of the total neglect meted out to them by the SLPP government. He asserts that doctors, nurses and teachers should be the ones to have enjoyed better conditions of service than the so –called politicians especially ministers and other political appointees, whom he said now have their salaries skyrocketed under the New Direction while the majority of Sierra Leoneans are wallowing in poverty.
Mr. Kamarainba also slammed the financial recklessness of the Bio’s administration especially on his excessive oversea travels which he said is creating an untold burden on the country’s coffer as a result of the huge delegation he usually takes along with him. ‘’ Bio is the most travelled president ever in Sierra Leone’s history in eight months period,’’ he stated adding that he has never seen any president to have travelled this much within just eight months.
According to Kamarainba, the many promises made by Bio during his campaign have now turned out to be nothing but a complete sham noting that everything in the New Direction is deceitful. He charged that Bio’s SLPP has way surpassed the Ernest Bai Koroma APC in terms of bad governance, policies and every other ill he (BIO) accused the past government of. ‘’The sufferings of the people under the New Direction is the worst in the history of Sierra Leone’’ he blasts recalling the promise made on several occasions by the current Minister of Finance, Jacob Jusu Saffa, that Sierra Leone under an SLPP rule will see the bread and butter issues affecting Sierra Leoneans, be addressed in three months; a promised which he said has now turned a complete opposite.
