Amid Appalling Conditions Of Service Junior Doctors Continue With Sit Down Strike
It was reliably recorded by this Media House that, quite a good number of Junior doctors across the country continued their sit down strike, 5th November, 2018 been the 2nd day of no work as in-house consultations on their conditions of service continue.
In an exclusive interview conducted by this Medium, doctors pinpointed to the current Administration to improve on their conditions of service due to the pivotal role they are playing to save lives and better serve humanity. It was vividly discerned that, they as medical custodians should be well motivated in conjunction with outstanding performances couple with the risk and expectations attached to their work.
An experienced doctor amongst the medical practitioners revealed that health is wealth, stressing on the fact that all other sectors within the economy could not function effectively and efficiently without thorough medical attention provided to them. In consonance with the sensitive roles they are exerting in order to better and continuously serve humanity with high level of professionalism, they should be well paid, as the nature of their job needs perfect concentration with little or no mistake at all. Through this newspaper, they are calling on the attention of this SLPP led government of President Bio to carefully delve into their critical but very urgent issue of national concern before situations go out of hands.
