OC and retired AIG team up to apprehend murder suspect

The Officer in-Charge (OC) for Kissy Town Police Station, Waterloo in the Western Rural District, James Alpha Sengova and Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Theophilus Senessie have teamed up and arrested a murder suspect, Adikalie Sesay alias Coin who is currently in Police custody.

Speaking to Journalists during the weekend in Waterloo, the OC maintained that there was a football gala competition between Borrow Pit FC versus Carpet Boys FC at the Kissy Town playing field where one of the spectators who is now a deceased Hassan Turay, was allegedly hit  with a stick by Mohamed Fofanah in the middle of the deceased head and spinal cord wherein he collapsed and rushed to the ADRA Hospital but later transferred to the Adventist Waterloo Government Hospital where he gave up the ghost. However, the accused is on the run.

According to OC Sengova, the deceased was a supporter of the Borrow Pit FC which emerged victorious but he allegedly used obscene language against the referee when Mohamed Fofanah connived with Adikalie Sesay alias coin to hit the spectator and met his sudden death.

He said the game started at around 5pm while that bloody battle occurred immediately after the match.

In his short statement, former Director of Human Resource in the Sierra Leone Police, Retired AIG Theophilus Senessie in a vexed mood said some jobless people are residing in Waterloo to cause havoc against peaceful citizens adding that their job is mostly stealing.

However, the AIG elaborated on the small number of unarmed Police officers at the post and called on Government to do more to secure what he described as a dangerous zone.
