Hundreds of mobile network subscribers across the country have expressed excitement on the former National Telecommunication Commission (NATCOM) boss, Momoh Konte for his astute leadership in transforming the sector to International standard with cheapest tariff in the sub-region under his administration as Chairman.  (Photo: l-r Momoh Konte recently handing over his notes to Prince Harding)

The subscribers/customers made this commendation in a commercial Bus plying from Easton Police to Waterloo with over one hundred passengers.

It all started when one of the passengers was trying to access the Internet from his cell phone but he did not succeeded in the process due to low credit and he asked his friend sitting next to him to purchase him voucher credit.

While the bus was in motion, the same passenger lauded the former NATCOM boss that he has left a remarkable record not only at NATCOM but in the entire field of communication in the country.

The happy customer discussed that the appointment of Momoh Konte as Chairman for NATCOM by former President Dr.Ernest Bai Koroma of the main opposition, All Peoples Congress (APC) was in the right direction to revamp the neglected sector.

“We will not forget to praise the former NATCOM boss for regulating and enforcing mobile operators to reduce on their tariffs plans and also to improve on the quality service so that many citizens can access the service with improve network service delivery system”, some concerned subscribers affirmed.

He argued that the new NATCOM Boss, Dr. Prince Alex Harding  will not go through difficulties to facelift the sector like his predecessor, Momoh Konte who met about seven hundred million Leones and handed over to the current Chairman over Thirty Billion Leones.
