Jamel Shallop Celebrates Birthday With SLPP at Country Lodge
After ripping fortunes in the All Peoples Congress (APC) Government of former President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, Jamel Shallop, who many now referred to as a political prostitute after having successfully used and dumped successive governments and their leaders in getting what he wants, has now moved on with the new government of His Excellency Brigadier (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio as he organized a special dinner on his birthday for senior members of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) at his Country Lodge Hotel.
Shallop, a Lebanese national, a man well-known for his political prostitution as he keeps moving from government to government, dated as far back as the Siaka Stevens era in order to achieve his selfish gains has now come under serious criticisms after specially organizing a dinner on his birthday for only SLPP big guns, leaving out his old APC friends, most of whom in less than two months ago, were moving up down together. His Country Lodge Hotel has now been painted half way green on order to camouflage the big guns in the new SLPP Government.
It could be recalled that in all the ten years of the APC rule, Shallop has been a close friend to the former president and the APC big guns and were moving up and down and many times sleep together. But after he (Shallop) had ripped a fortune out of the relationship with the former president during which he was able to scoop billions of dollars through various fictitious government contracts awarded to his numerous companies, has now swiftly dumped his old friend as a result of his stepping down from power. He is now seen moving here and there with His Excellency Brig. (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio as another ploy to use and dump him like he has always done with the other leaders.
Concerned citizens are now calling on His Excellency Retired Brigadier Julius Maada Bio to be cautious of Jamel Shallop in order for him (Shallop) not to mislead him into corrupt practices like he had misled past leaders.
