MP Elect Mohamed Bangura says he was manhandled in Parliament
The video footage below throws some light on the fracas in Parliament Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 which culminated in Mohamed Bangura’s admission in hospital. Bangura told reporters that he was not beaten but was “roughed”!
” Den roff me,” he was quoted by reporters as saying.
As much thinking, we were able to translate the meaning of the Krio phrase “den “roff me” to mean “I was manhandled”! Bangura was actually” roffed”. We wish him a speedy recovery.
