He pointed out that staff of the company are discharging their specific duties as assigned, as no staff is doing anything outside their mandate as alleged.
The HR person also debunked allegations of the payment of a labor officer attached to the company monthly salary pointing out that the company do not have any labor officer attached to the company as different labor inspectors usually boomed in for on the spot visit without the knowledge of the administration.
Tommy Sam furthered that due to the unfavorable business condition the company is currently facing; the company has terminated the services of some of its staff through the procedures prescribed by the labor laws.
The HR person also added that those who were terminated were also given the opportunity for a new contract of six months durable that will be in line with the country’s minimum wage for which some have appended their signatures.
As it stands, the company is repositioning itself from importing and selling to production and selling as the company is going to embark on four products for a start which will therefore reduce the work load drastically.
