SLNHO Boost Connaught Hospital
The Sierra Leoneans National Heart Organization based in England have donated medical equipment worth millions of Leones in the Inattentive Care Unit (ICU) at Connaught hospital in Freetown.
Handing over the donation medical equipment to the Deputy Health Minister 1 Madam Madina Rahman and some senior staff of the hospital the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLNHO Madam Hagar Coal said their organization is complement government by way of stirring the country healthcare delivery system.
“We want help developed other hospital in the country but according him they are faced with some financial challenges” said Madam Hagar Coal. She recalled that when the country was fighting the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus Disease (EVD) the SLNHO boosted the Connaught hospital with 120 hospital beads.
She called on the hospital Management to use this hospital materials generously for it proposed and expressed thanks to the other members in England for their support to people of Sierra Leone.
The Tura of the SLNHO Mrs. Presieal Savage said the organization organized dance to raised finance to get some of this donated medical equipment for the ICU at Connaught hospital for to help saved the lives of our brothers and sisters that are in this hospital.
Madam Savage said there are plans on the way to extend the to the province to do the same donation in some of the hard to rich areas in the country. She thanks the government and the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MoHS) for kind gesture to the SLNHO in Sierra Leone.
Resaving the medical equipment on behalf of the Health ministry and Hospital Management the Deputy Health Minister 1 Madam Radian Rahman thanks the group of Sierra Leoneans in England for supporting the country healthcare, but plead with them to pleased conducted tearing for nurses that could use equipment in the hospital.
