Africell Rescues flood victims

Sierra Leone’s leading Telecommunications Company, Africell has yet again demonstrated the exemplary and leading role they have been playing over the years by once again coming to the rescue of over 1,000 Mudslide and Flood Victims along with youth volunteers that are championing the fight to recover bodies from the affected areas through the provision of food for them.

Speaking to the management of Africell, senior members staff of the company maintained that as part of their corporate social responsibility, their company thought it wise to render a helping hand to the victims of this devastating natural disaster whom they said do not only lost their loved ones but also lost everything including food shelter and clothing.  They noted that this is not the first time they are responding to such national disasters but have always stood there in terms of every trying time the country is faced with adding that as leaders in the telecommunications business, they always set the pace for others to copy.  They disclosed that they will expand on the feeding program in the coming days as they said such a disaster is a disaster for everyone in the country. They concluded by registering on behalf of the company, their heartfelt condolences to the families of all those that lost their lives during this disaster as they prayed that the souls of the departed loved ones rest in peace.
