NPD PARTY FLAG BEARER

According to the NPD constitution, any registered, fully paid-up party member may submit his/her application for candidacy for the position of Flag Bearer, who will be chosen in a primary election.

As the party’s national leader and public face, our Flag Bearer will be our principal spokesperson, present our policies and election platform, and stand for the presidency of Sierra Leone.

A candidate’s application for the position of Flag Bearer should include:

1. a signed and dated curriculum vitae (resumé)
2. contact information (address, telephone number, email)
3. two passport photographs
4. a preliminary non-refundable processing fee¹ of: One Million Leones (Le 1,000,000) payable to the NPD treasurer.

• in person – cash or by bank paying-in slip
• Internet² — by bank transfer, Paypal, Western Union, or Venmo.

¹An NPD committee will review all applications for eligibility. Short-listed candidates (those whom the committee has deemed to have met NPD constitutional requirements) will be contacted by 19^th July and will pay an application fee in the amount of Twenty Million Leones (Le 20,000,000) by 31^st July 2017.
