Sierra Leone Government Officials Sold Health Materials to the Public

Sierra Express Media has discovered that some top Government officials are conniving with senior workers at Water Quay to auction hand gloves and other health materials to the public.

Investigation carried out revealed that the said health materials including twenty containers of hand gloves were donated by international partners to help fight the then deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) but amazingly those protective gears are currently in some shops owned by foreign business people for sale.

Findings revealed that the cartoons of the said hand gloves bearing inscriptions like “This hand gloves are not for sale” but they are still displayed in certain shops for sale.

According to research, the twenty containers of hand gloves were sold to Abacha women in connivance with some foreign investors dealing in business in the central part of Freetown.

Approaching one of the investors and the Abacha Group representative to tell the public where they acquired those protective gears which are now found in shops for sale, they confirmed that indeed they bought them at the Queen Elizabeth (ii) Quay through the supervision of some top Government officials who will be named in our subsequent editions.

In that regard, the general public is appealing to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to probe senior staff at the Quay and some top Government authorities at State House whose hands deepened in to this shady deal.
