Salone swimmers ‘super-excited’ to be at Olympics

Jalloh and Kamara will both compete in the Swimming Women’s & Men’s 50m Freestyle event respectively and the duo are living in their dreams in Rio as they awaits their competing date.

“I’ve been excited about the Olympics,” Kamara said in an interview after the team’s parade in Friday’s opening ceremony. The feel to be around other top name athletes in the Games village is one thing that keeps the duo more excited.

“I already love the reception, the atmosphere here and it feels great to stay in the village and get to meet other athletes,” Jalloh who was the country’s flag bearer during the opening ceremony said.
