A new organization – Salone Got Talent – will on 29th April organize a competition “Salone Strongest man” at the National Stadium at Brookfields in Freetown.

The objective of the newly established organization is to promote young people who have talents.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Mr. Ibrahim Wurie, they established the organization to promote young people with talents.

He observed that young Sierra Leoneans with talents have been left behind for far too long and they should therefore be encouraged by giving them the opportunity to exhibit their talents to the general public.

Mr. Wurie maintained that despite the star prize which is Le100 million, the competition is to help promote the future of young people in the country.

The CEO disclosed that the competition will be open and that representatives from the fourteen districts in the country will battle for the star price, adding that the competition will be strictly based on international standards and four referees for the competition will be coming from the United Kingdom.

‘’We want to change the perception of sport, entertainment and other social activities in the country because other countries are far ahead of us in terms of promoting of young people in sport and other social activities,” Mr. Wurie opined.

He disclosed that the price for open stand is Le20, 000. 00, cover stand Le50, 000.00 and the presidential stand for patrons by donation.
