Man sentenced ten years for wounding
A 22 year old youth, Sedique Sheriff, of No. 13 Niawama Section in Daru, Jawei Chiefdom in the Kailahun District, was reportedly sentenced to10 years imprisonment by High Court Judge, Hon. Justice Ernest Gooding of the High Court in Kenema for wounding with intent contrary to Section 18 of the Offences Against the Person’s Act of 1961.
According to the particulars of offence, it was reported that on the 25th May, 2015 in Kenema town, East of the country, the accused person wounded one Samba Jusu Gandi with intent to do him grievous bodily harm. The accused pleaded guilty.
