President Koroma’s rebranding team meets in New York

Some of the accomplished journalists tasked with rebranding  Sierra Leone have had an exciting and productive meeting in New York. Celebrated Information Attaché to the Sierra Leone Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Jalloh, paid a courtesy call at the Sierra Leone Permanent Mission to the United Nations last week. Alhaji Jalloh, who is in the United States on a private visit, was received by Information Attaché, Ms. Elizabeth Foray, who took him on a conducted tour of the Mission. Alhaji Jalloh later paid a courtesy call on the Minister Plenipotentiary, Mr. Leeroy Wilfred Kabs-Kanu, and the two established and renowned journalists held fruitful discussions about the way forward in promoting the agenda and the achievements of the Government of President Ernest Bai Koroma. Both men agreed that the government made a fantastic decision to appoint information attaches in Sierra Leone’s embassies and missions abroad to propagate the plans and achievements of the All People’s Congress (APC ) Government as there was need to demolish the negative perceptions that had been nurtured about Sierra Leone in the international world.

The two men agreed that all the Information Attachés and the Minister Plenipotentiary were doing a dazzling and wonderful job and today the image of Sierra Leone has improved in the outside world. Both men cited examples of instances when stakeholders had commended them and the other information personnel for showcasing  the real Sierra Leone- a country with abundant pportunities and achievements, despite the daunting challenges she faces also.

The two government information officials resolved to remain focused on the task  ahead of them , which is the rebranding  of Sierra Leone and  they called on all the other information attachés to continue performing exceptionally as their efforts will never go in vain.

The men praised President Ernest Bai Koroma  and the government for their outstanding stewardship .They called on all Sierra Leoneans to be patient with the government as it inherited seemingly insurmountable problems which it is fighting very hard to combat. They lauded President Koroma for his no-nonsense stance against corruption and said that they were very proud to be part of a government that not only had the interest of the nation at heart but was conducting business in a transparent and accountable fashion.

The two men hope to draw up plans for better cooperation and coordination of the rebranding enterprise .

  • Hope this article pass through the normal process of proof reading so that its language body will be an identity of the journalists concerned. Stories written by Alhaji Jalloh that are sent to my desk for proof reading are nothing less than lowest kind of journalism ever seen in the world. Who is saying he is an accomplished journalist, must be standing on a quick sand. Please stop!! This Alhaji Jalloh is not an accomplished Journalist. It is because the APC always choose “Half Baked” people in manning the affairs of the country. No wonder Musa Tarawally, Mohamed Daudis Koroma and Moijue Kaikai are serving as Ministers in the country despite they being not capacitated to act as office assistances.
