Moseray Fadika boosts Obama Unit on June 16

Information reaching this medium indicated that the African Entrepreneur of the year 2013 Mr. Moseray Fadika (in photo) aka Super Mose has thrown his total support to a social club based at Murray Town called Obama Unit in celebration of the African Child’s Day on June 16th this year.

This was made public when the Chairlady of the Obama Unit Madam Mariama Samuels was responding to an exclusive interview at his residence at Cole Street Murray Town Freetown on June 13th 2014.

For the past four years , Madam Samuel said this program has been sponsored by Kadco Sierra Leone Limited , Kuaku Lisk and other community stakeholders but this year the whole process has taken a  different dimension as the Super Mose has step in to make the entire engagement most successful and the children to become more happier . She declared that Mr. Fadika is going to support them financially and will also award scholarships to school pupils from class one to JSS 3.

According to the Chairlady the Unit was formed five years ago with the aim of not only making food provisions and entertainment such as film shows, games and the likes for the children to be happy but they also pose questions to the class six pupils who come from different Primary schools within around Murray town where she described as a big community on why the day is celebrated annually  and the kids in return provide answers to the questions at the end of the day  adding that gift will be awarded to the first and second person that perform best during question time. She continued that, they normally targeted four hundred children but in the end they normally exceeding number, a process  which she described as one of their biggest challenges they face as an organization but the often overcome it . She added and maintained that last year over six hundred children attended the occasion along with their parents. She expressed that this year they are expecting more children to participate in the process.  In fact she said that is the reason they are asking for more external help to continue supporting the initiative.

She highlighted that most of the children will be dressed in African costume to signify Africa but she was quick to state that all sort of decent dress is allowed as they want the least child to feel comfortable adding that they normally prepare African type of food like rice and cassava leaves, jollof rice and the likes for the young. The Chairlady further lamented that the program will start with games and puzzls and at the end of the day they will give them a package containing exercise and text books, pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener, and they will also have to distribute biscuit, sweet, lollipop and assorted drinks.  Madam Samuel’s called on the children to come and make themselves happy by making not only new friends but to also have some fun and learn other things.

Concluding, the Chairlady and the entire Obama Unit sends a God blessing to Super Mose to throw his weight in their business and to make the children have pleasure time.

Adding value in to the discussion the Secretary General of Obama Unit Akuna Nelson-Williams said the organization named Obama as a sign of honoring the first black man Barrack Obama to become President of the United States of America.
