AIG Memunatu Conteh to champion demolition exercise at Rokupa

As panic grips citizens of the Rokupa Wan-word Garage, over a high court ruling in favour of Alhaji Wurrie Palava, over 150 houses are going to be demolished or court sessioned with the so called champion who claims to be the legal owner of the land Alhaji Wurrie Palava.

However, councilor Sheku Turay pointed out that they have held several meetings at constituency level in order to use wisdom and ideas in preventing this demolition.

Latest reports  reaching this press call upon the govmentern and the Attorney General and His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma to critically look and observe a court ruling in favour of Alhaji Wurrie Palava, legal counsel and Human Rights lawyer  Abdul Lamin Sidiquie  versus the alleged illegal occupants of the One-world Garage and it’s environs.

Councilor Sheku Turay is the A.P.C councilor for ward 354 in constituency 99 under the Hon. Alimamy G. Kargbo in the east end of Freetown.  He called on the hierarchy of the National Advisory Council of the All People Congress (APC) to intervene in addressing these issues which are directly affecting his constituencies.

Councilor Sheku Turay pointed out that at any point in time they never went into any confrontation but created worries in the minds of over 150 house owners who stand to loose their houses and family in the hands of Alhaji  Wurrie Palava, adding that AIG Memunatu Conteh has ordered her operations.

Personnel Ross Road Division ASP fat-Kay and team from  Ross Road in a warning caution of 10 day’s of which half of these day’s have safer been spent.

He assured the government and Human Rights in Sierra Leone that over 500 citizens are going to be left homeless if the intervention of the government is not taken.

Councilor Sheku Turay pointed out that they have informed the L.U.C. Kissy Division and team on a planned protest in a peaceful way and manner for the intervention of state authorities to salvage this unfortunate and sad development that will lead to future interest in his country completely devastated.
