Sierra Leone Premier League put on hold

This press has learnt that the Sierra Leone Premier League, which commenced two weeks ago, has been put on hold by the Premier League Board.  (Photo: SLFA President, Mrs Isha Johansen)

Sources reaching this press are that the Premier League Board is constrained with several problems including venues, and finances amongst others.

Sources from inside the Premier League Board revealed to this press that because of venue constraints, they want to wrap up the FA cup and later commence the Premier League competition.

Fans of various clubs are disgruntled for the postponement of the league, they said, it’s always nice watching their favorite clubs and restarting the league again in the raining season is a disappointment, they revealed to this press.

Old Edwardians beat Central Parade FC 4-1
Mighty Blackpool FC defeated FC FC 3-0
EE Lions beat Anti Drugs Strikers FC 3-1
Ports Authority FC beat RSLAF 2-1
Bo Rangers nailed Kamboi Eagles 1-0 in Kenema
FC Kallon and FC Johansen settled to a goalless draw at the National Stadium.
