NaCSA to evaluate other MDAs

NaCSA to evaluate other MDAs

Commissioner of the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) Mr. Saidu Conton Sesay has disclosed at a news conference that his agency will be evaluating Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) across the country.

According to the Commissioner the aim of the evaluation is to help other MDAs emulate the good work his agency has played in the country. A suggestion he may discuss with his boss President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma so that his institution would be evaluating other MDAs in the future.

Mr. Saidu Conton Sesay further disclosed that the reason for their success story is hard work, adding that their staff are highly professional including some of their past board members who have now been appointed to serve in other agencies.

He noted that NaCSA’s work speaks for itself, adding that the commission’s staff believe in team work who pride themselves in sacrificing their time for the success of the institution.

“Our wining was not based on radio talk shows, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to those who conducted the assessment and also Dr Ernest Bai Koroma, President of Sierra Leone who appointed me as Commissioner of this noble institution,” said commissioner Saidu Conton Sesay.

In his statement, NaCSA Deputy Commissioner Madam Isatu Kamara, said she felt excited as this is the second presidential award to her agency, “I  feel elated because we won the Gold award in recognition of our outstanding performance contract annual review,” said Madam Kamara.

NaCSA senior Director Monetary and Evaluation Officer Dr. Susan Robert acknowledged the management for their wonderful performance.

Madam Robert, who also felt joy for the Aaard said they have a good working relationship with Mr. Saidu Conton Sesay.
