Kao Denero to facilitate Busy Signal’s first visit in the Sub-region

Sierra Leone National Peace Ambassador and the recent awardee of the Universal Annual Awards best African Hip-Hop Star, and the AWOL Best Performing Artist of the Year 2013, Mr. Amara Denis Turay popularly known as Kao Denero has concluded all preliminary preparations to facilitate the first visit of a leading world musician in contemporary dance hall music, Glendale Goshia Gorden, widely known as Busy Signal, in the west African Sub-region.

Sierra Leone as a country will host the Jamaican dance hall mogul, Busy Signal at the National Stadium on April 5th.

He will perform live alongside Kao Denero on the launching of one of the biggest, if not the most powerful musical album in Sierra Leone.

The album titled: Ghetto Struggle is the latest to be launched by Sierra Leone’s hip hop king, Kao Denero, who is also known as Black James Bond 007, the Mr. Buff Case, the Mr. Pen Don Touch Paper, Haidara Konthofili, the All Salone Pikin Papa.

This historical national hip-hop concert will mark Busy Signal’s second visit in Africa, since 2013 when he thrilled Uganda with his first hit single, “Step Out”.

All modalities are now in full swing to receive the Jamaican musician who is expected to storm Sierra Leone with a six-man delegation.

African Minerals Limited (AML) is one of the major sponsors of the Kao Denero album launching.

Kao is expected to perform live with Busy Signal the ‘Ghetto Struggle’ song and several other songs at the Stadium launching.

The Black Leo group is currently working towards the coverage of the event by Sound City and Channel O.

In a brief interview, Amara Denis Turay aka Kao Denero explained that the show is not only about Black Leo fans but it’s an opportunity for all Sierra Leonean music lovers to feel the difference between Hip Hop, Dance Hall and Lovers Rock at the same time. He assured that all arrangements are now in place for the coming of Busy Signal and that Sierra Leoneans should be ready to welcome the Jamaican legend. He has called on all music loving fans and other record labels such as RFM, Noble Squad, Dry Eye Crew, Bingo Unit and host of others to support him on Saturday 5th April 2014 at the National Stadium Main Bowl.
