She noted that Miss Sia Jarieu B. Morsay, as a daughter of Kono, has donated 400 scholarships to the poor school going children and other items to petty diamond centres like DSTV and televisions for their amusement.

The female aspirant Madam Sia Jarieu B. Morsay won the fullest support for her developmental vision for the diamond industry in Kono and more especially for the people of the entire district.

On behalf of the Council of Paramount Chiefs, Chiefdom Speakers, and Section Chiefs, the Chiefdom Speaker of Gbense Chiefdom, Chief A.M. Kamanda and Sansie Queegba expressed the support of the traditional rulers for Madam Sia Jarieu B. Morsay to be elected as the first female Chairperson of the association.

In her response to the sentiments expressed about her, Miss Sia Jarieu B. Morsay stated that if she is elected as the Chairperson she will donate an X-ray machine to the Kono District Government Hospital and also provide other medical appliances for the sick.
